SNUBA ADVENTURE

The SNUBA Adventure is a guided underwater tour offered by authorized SNUBA Recreational Centers worldwide. This unique, entertaining program allows you to experience our underwater world without time-consuming classes or training. During the tour you will come face-to-face with some of the most amazing marine life. Swim with a school of fish, come across a hiding ray, catch a glimpse of a sleepy turtle, and take in the vibrant colors of the coral around you – you’ll discover a world of incomparable beauty!

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM A TYPICAL SNUBA ADVENTURE TOUR?

(1) Qualify for the Tour:

  • Be at least 8 years of age or older
  • Be in good health or cleared by a physician to dive (you are required to complete and sign a brief Participant Record & Liability Release Form)
  • Have basic swimming skills and be comfortable in the water

(2) Safety Briefing & Skills Review:

  • Participate in a 15-minute Safety Briefing about the SNUBA system and what to expect during your tour
  • Review and practice the skills discussed during the briefing, including: Hand signals for underwater communication, mask clearing, proper breathing, skills for controlled ascents and descents, ear equalization techniques and more

(3) Gear Up:

  • A Certified SNUBA Guide will fit you with a SNUBA harness, mask, fins and weight belt
  • You will not carry the air cylinder, as it rests on the SNUBA Raft at the surface
  • Your air line connects from the back of the harness to the air cylinder on the Raft at the surface

(4) Have Fun!

  • Your SNUBA Guide will be with you for your entire tour. You’ll SNUBA dive along a present “SNUBA Trail” for the tour of a lifetime
  • You can return to the Raft at the surface to rest or take a break at any time during your tour
  • Underwater tour duration is approximately 25-minutes

SNUBA DOO

SNUBA Doo® allows kids six years and older old to join their siblings, parents or family members on a shared SNUBA tour. Kids wear a specially designed, highly adjustable floatation vest which keeps them buoyant at the surface, while their family members SNUBA dive below them.

Introduce your child to the magic of the underwater world!

SNUBA Doo participants breathe through a standard 2nd stage regulator with a child-sized mouthpiece. A 10-foot air line runs from a compressed air cylinder on the SNUBA Raft* to a connection on the back of the SNUBA Doo vest, hindering the child from touching, accidentally disconnecting, or removing any part of the equipment. The air line also keeps the child within a distance of 10-feet or less from the SNUBA Raft.

SNUBA Doo is simple like snorkeling, however, air is provided through a scuba-type regulator mouthpiece. Participants are under the supervision of a certified SNUBA Guide throughout the entire tour. The surface raft is never more than 10-feet from the SNUBA Doo participant, and is available at any time for surface support.

The SNUBA Doo program is an excellent opportunity for the whole family to participate in a SNUBA tour.
